Situation

Nevertheless the problem of unemployment is more seen in the cities (42%) than in the villages (9%), there isn’t a lot of work to choose in the villages. The only possibility is principally working on the family farmland. Teenagers don’t have opportunity to learn a handicraft. There are nearly no organized free time activities, we can find some only in religious groups. If the parents aren’t able to feed a girl, they force her to get married early (illegaly). The teenagers don’t know how to plan a family, girls become pregnant very soon and have to leave school. They raise new generation without education, without possibility to be able to teach them how to solve problems. That’s how “the circle of problems” is closed and not solved.

● Regular meetings of scout group (the aim of scout organization is to form and develop children personality) ● Dance group – typical African dances Individual treatment of early-married girls, motivation and support in pursuing the studies. ● Effort to show new handicrafts (beekeeping,…) ● Involve teenagersinto the organization of community
