history

NRCS was founded in 1987 thanks to the group of Kashitu village inhabitants lead by Bornface Mamfunda. The society was registered at the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of  Zambia under the number 0RS/102/78/16 in year 1999.

RAINBOW OVC PROJECT STARTED

2001 – 2011 they supported the following activities:

  • Agriculture in-put support
  • Education support
  • Nutrition under five childern
  • General assistance for the aged

ZAMBIA NATIONA AIDS NETWORK (ZNAN)

2004 – 2005 they supported:

  • HIV and AIDS support, care, and prevenation
  • food supplement for people living with HIV and AIDS

November 2010 – April 2011 She supported in Agro-inputs such fertilizers, seeds and second cloth.

started in 2011 to date They are supporting us with:

  • Water and sanitation

FRIENDS NEW RENATO COMMUNITY SOCIETY

started in 2012 (Czech Republic) first contact and communication in October 1998 up to 2012 un official cooperatin with Parish St.Bartolomej, Prague Anna and Jiri Eitler visited Kashitu in 2010. Monika Hoferova and Jan Rosik visited Kashitu in 2011. Official cooperation started in June 2012

MENDEL UNIVERSITY IN BRNO, CZECH REPUBLIC

Czech students and teachers regularly visit New Renato Community as part of their practical internships in Zambia. This internships are organized  through project “Strengthening the competitiveness of the Mendel University graduates in the field of development cooperation and management of natural resources in the Third World” every year.  Students successfully prepare their proposals for development projects and thesis thanks to cooperation with NRCS. They also gain unique experiences that help them in their personal development and self-realization in the labor market.
